Just bought two of these with the sport top. Love them. Easy to use, don't leak, easy to clean.

Not too long ago, I switched from my 1L SIGG to this bottle. Upon seeing and using a Klean Kanteen for the first time, I realized I should have just gone with Klean Kanteen from the very beginning.

I bought the Klean Kanteen for the liner-less stainless steel construction (which also makes it possible for me to boil water in it if I'm in a pinch), but the wide mouth is what really made my purchase worthwhile. Ice cubes are a given, but I was blown away by how easy it was to clean, especially compared to my old SIGG. I have to admit I giggled when I found out a whole sponge fit inside, and of course I had no trouble taking it out. I also was thrilled that I could actually see into the bottle, unlike my old SIGG which was pretty narrow in comparison... not to mention the liner color which made it difficult to see how close I was to spilling over when refilling.

Drinking from it for the first time was another pleasant surprise. While I admit the mouth of the SIGG was pretty comfortable to drink from, the wide mouth of the Klean Kanteen made me forget that I was drinking from a bottle in the first place. I was reminded of those old "wider is better" car commercials, but this time wider really IS better!

It's pretty hard to come up with negatives. Some might consider the "Made in China" label a negative, but Klean Kanteen doesn't hide this on their site. They addressed any and all problems anyone could ever have with the fact that they're made in China, and if that doesn't satisfy you, you might as well go with another brand that may or may not be made in China anyway.

I've only filled my bottle with water and I still think it's taste-neutral. That's not to say I didn't smell the metal for the first week. If this would bother you, I hear a water & baking soda solution gets rid of this.

Also, for the first week, screwing in the cap would make a sound I wasn't too comfortable with. Note that I was using the (BPA-free) plastic cap specifically to avoid any metal-on-metal grinding sounds. I'm glad to say it was just a temporary problem. And at least the Klean Kanteen cap only takes 2 or 3 turns for a tight seal; my SIGG would require me to spin it like a top, twirl my finger a few times, and THEN screw it in 2 or 3 more times for a seal.

The Klean Kanteen sweats more than my SIGG did. If you kinda sorta needed a coaster for your SIGG after taking it out of the refrigerator, you really DO need a coaster for your Klean Kanteen.

The Klean Kanteen also wobbles a bit when putting it down, but who cares? As they say on their site, it wasn't a design error; it's rounded so it's easier to clean on the inside.

My only regret is that I didn't just spring for the 40 oz bottle. It's probably kept me up more than a few times. And Baying Hound's quick shipping time isn't making it any easier!
